Election 2020 : ‘Sika No Ashi’ ; Brokenhearted John Dumelo Respond To A Fan Who Asked How Much He Spent For His Campaign


If money could really win votes as many have alleged, then he is supposed to be the sitting MP by now.. As the saying goes “fear voters”.

Actor John Setor Dumelo is yet to resurrect from the shock and unimaginable deafeat he painfully suffered after the just ended elections.

He has since gone off scene for awhile , probably the fiasco was too much for him to bear, seeing how he has invested a whole fortune into Ayawaso West Wuogon in the hope and strong conviction that he will definitely snatch the parliamentary seat .

Fans on social media have not stopped mocking the failed parliamentarian since it was declared that he lost.

John has, however,  got his fans wondering if his Twitter account has been hacked after he responded to several tweets with memes and short funny videos instead of words.

One that got the attention of many was a question from a fan who asked him on how much cash he used to campaign before he was defeated in the race to become Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon during the recent December 7 elections.

Amusingly ,  Dumelo used a short movie clip of Kumawood actors Lil Win and Agya Koo where they said ‘Sika No Ashi’ to wit “the money has been squandered” to reply the fan.

Another fan asked  if the actor-turned-politician will return to contest in 2024 after he lost to his biggest contender, the incumbent Ayawaso West MP, Lydia Alhassan.

As to whether he wasn’t in the mood to type , or he still in a state of comatoase, John shared a short video of Daddy Lumba’s ‘Sika Asem’ video to depict the fact that he needed money if he would contest again.

John Dumelo , who contested on the ticket of the Opposition NDC  lost about some 2,000 votes to the incumbent Lydia Alhassan ALHASSAN . John had 37,778 votes, whereas Hon Lydia won with 39,851 votes
